Very interesting book that explores the develops of NLP and its use within coaching.
This book clearly describes NLP coaching referring to current, relevant research and well-respected theory. It is a very readable and well researched book. Chapters are short and snappy, holding the reader’s interest and motivation. They include practical hints and tips, case studies and exercises that help the reader to translate theory to practice. The brain teaser at the end of the chapter inspires reflection into personal values and beliefs and practice and offers further opportunities for relevant debate.
It is particularly interesting for me as a Programme Leader of the MA Dyslexia Research and Practice at the University of Chester because teachers and practitioners use cumulative, structured, multi-sensory learning and teaching strategies when teaching learners with dyslexia. NLP techniques in this book help teachers and practitioners to support learners with dyslexia to address the motivational and emotional issues that can improve their learning.
