This book is designed to support trainee doctors during the Foundation Stage of postgraduate training, including preparation and application for Specialty Training posts, and covers the generic (non-clinical) aspects of postgraduate education, training and professional development. Introduction: Generic Aspects of Professional Practice for Foundation Stage and Specialty Doctors

I would recommend this text for use by final year students so that they can begin to use this in their assistant ship period. I think that it is a useful aid memoire and quick reference book which will help build confidence and competence in their early years.

I liked the way this book integrated non technical skills with knowledge and addresseda wide range of subjects. Foundation Stage competencies are addressed.
