COUNTER 4 Reports Now Available to SAGE Customers

February 26, 2014

Los Angeles, CA - Institutional Reports from COUNTER 4, the latest standard in usage reporting for journals, databases, books, and multimedia content, are now available for all SAGE and CQ Press products.

This update retires COUNTER 3 reports and adds three new reports to those previously available (asterisked):

Journal Report 1 (JR1) Number of successful full-text article requests, by month and Journal Report 1a
Journal Report 1a (JR1a) Number of successful full-text article requests from an archive, by month and journal
Journal Report 1 Gold Open Access (GOA)* Number of full-text downloads for those articles available at no charge to the user
Journal Report 2 (JR2) * Access denied to full-text articles, by month and journal
Journal Report 5 (JR5)* Number of successful full-text article requests, by year-of-publication (YOP) and journal
Consortium Report 1 (CR1) Number of successful full-text journal article or book chapter requests by month and title

The COUNTER 4 reports are available for all SAGE and CQ Press products including SAGE JournalsSAGE KnowledgeSAGE Research MethodsCQ ResearcherState Stats, and all products in the CQ Press suite.
