I found this source too convoluted and complicated for a second year undergraduate unit. I think this is best suited to PhD studies.
A really helpful book for our Level 3 and HE students who have to undertake a Research project as part of their final year.
It continues to provide a clear overview of the research process.
Offers an alternate perspectives compared with other 'how to' texts.
It is a useful resource with a good structure that matches very well the process of empirical research and writing a dissertation.
Really useful for final year dissertation students and PGRs as a grounding text
This book is a useful guide for students approaching their first university research project. The sections are well designed so that students (and lecturer) can access the info relevant to them. The examples and writing style make the book enjoyable.
a well written and readable text which will appeal to students from many disciplines.
Didn't think it worked with what the students are expected to do on the course. However, have suggested it to colleagues on other course where it may be more applicable.
