`For the statistician seeking a fresh and original angle on the methods in question, this book will prove stimulating and thought provoking' - The Statistician

`One of the difficulties facing teachers of social research is the lack of sociological examples in current textbooks when it comes to explaining statistical findings in substantive terms. We can only appreciate the effort Tacq has made in searching out the examples he has chosen' - European Sociological Review

Multivariate Analysis Techniques in Social Science Research (J. Tacq) is an excellent textbook for a course "Multidimentional Analysis". All methods are presented very clearly and in detail manner. Very good exapmles are the most valuable parts of all chapters.

The book is a bit too mathematical for social sciences students who are weak in statistics, but useful for those who have solid background in mathematics and want to learn more
