As the world’s first digital health journal, Digital Health bridges the evolution of advances in informatics and technology in medicine, all aspects of health care and wellbeing with the application of these developments in clinical and healthcare practice. As a gold open access journal, the journal provides universally accessible content to all stakeholders involved in digital healthcare and supports a transdisciplinary dialogue.
Digital Health considers research on all aspects of digital healthcare, encompassing technological and engineering approaches; and digital interventions for public and global health needs, relevant to clinical and healthcare challenges across care pathways (from diagnosis to rehabilitation); healthcare settings (self-management, integrated and acute care); and research settings (clinical trials and research studies). Including but not limited to:

Our goal is to publish novel research, even if it represents an incremental advance. While our primary focus is on ensuring sound scientific practices, including adherence to ethical standards and the use of robust, transparent, and reproducible methodologies, we recognize the value of meaningful contributions to the field. Digital Health evaluates manuscripts based on the size of the contribution and based on how the research was conducted and reported.
