David L. Hudson, Jr. Vanderbilt University, USA

David L. Hudson Jr. is a First Amendment Scholar with the First Amendment Center at Vanderbilt University. He teaches First Amendment classes at the Nashville School of Law and Vanderbilt Law School. He is a First Amendment contributing editor to the American Bar Association's Preview of United States Supreme Court Cases. He is the author or co-author of more than thirty-five books, including Let the Students Speak! A History of the Fight for Free Expression in American Schools (2011); The Encyclopedia of the First Amendment (2009); The Handy Supreme Court Answer Book (2008); and The Rehnquist Court: Understanding Its Impact and Legacy (2006).
