A great resource for level 3 students embarking on leadership activities and community sports leaders awards in schools and extra curricular sessions.

Can be quite heavy in some places for level 3 students, more case studies and examples would suit this level.

An excellent book that provides a really useful overview of the major issues in Physical Education. One of the few books to cover policy and practice and the sociological debates in a single text.

This book could be helpful for our undergraduate students when they are studying for modules within the professional strand of our degree programme.

It may also help some of our students when they are exploring ideas for dissertations or writing their dissertations.

The chapters "Assessment and Examinations in Physical Education" and "Health and Physical Education" are very interesting and stimulate "food for thought"

This text includes some very useful chapters that will serve the concerned module very well. I intended to recommend this text to my students as one (of a few) texts for this course.
