Excellent overview of EYFS
An excellent update to this essential book
An excellent text for our HE students on the Foundation Degree and top-up Degree programmes. There are good sections for ‘points for discussion’, as well as the reflective tasks at the end of each chapter. Furthermore, the case studies enable links between theory and practice, to enable students to further develop working practice in their setting. Additionally, with ‘further reading’ materials and ‘useful websites’, which makes the publication an ideal source for the students to further explore key points of interest. Very good collaboration of authors across the chapter content.
A recommended book for Foundation Degree in Early Year students. Covers a range of topics, issues and curriculum areas. The 'points for discussion' are particularly useful to initiate conversations with students and to prompt their thinking and reflection on practice.
An excellent and comprehensive textbook
There is some very up to date ideas and theory that is good for the students to explore.
This is so helpful for many modules within the level 5 course. I have added this to the core reading list
Very comprehensive coverage of important issues in EYFS ranging from reflective practice to leadership and chapters focused on different areas of learning and development. Ana ccessible read.
