A very thorough book, but too specialised for undergraduate level.

The book is a great resource with its depth, guidance and examples. Most useful are the recommendations for analytical storytelling as well as the material in Appendix A to D. They are great for reference and also for classroom activity.
Should we have a separate course on Qualitative methods, it could be adopted as essential course material. As it is, we teach Qualitative and Quantitative in one course, with lower level of complexity of both topics, so the book could only be used as supplemental source from which isolated examples or exercises are used within the course.

Excellent, exceptional book. The best help out there for dissertation students and researchers. Absolutely love this book. Had no idea there were so many analysis methods. I am quite keen on dramatic analysis now.

Another excellent text from Saldana. One of the very few which deals explicitly with the challenges of analyzing qualitative data, providing a series of valuable worked examples to help students get started on this key phase in handling and interpreting qualitative data; and introducing students to the variety of options available.

Professor Margaret Hogg
Dept of Marketing, Lancaster University
