Aligned with the NMC Standards of Proficiency for registered nurses, this book adopts a reassuring tone, specifically targeting student nurses who are responsible for the care of patients with life-limiting illnesses, as well as those in need of palliative and end-of-life care. By emphasising patient-centred care, it effectively addresses the intricacies involved in providing for these individuals. As part of the transforming nursing practice series, this book stands as yet another valuable addition to the collection.

Suitable for undergraduate students studying to become a nurse. Easy to read and follow, great case studies included for discussion with students.
Critical thinking exercises are good to encourage active engagement from students.
