This is definitely a great book to review the basics. There are however a few cases where I would have liked the book to recognize subjects specificity. For example, it rejects categorically the use of the first person in academic writing, but this is actually widely used in psychology and recognized by the APA as a way to avoid ambiguities.
I recommended the book to my students. One part requested to purchase it. I recommend the book to the library, as I pointed out how it would be useful to academic work. The next course I plan to turn part of it and to quote the curriculum.
