Beautifully written, and richly illustrated with vignettes, this book describes psychopathology in simple and accessible language. It contains helpful insights, useful resources and interesting questions. It is an indispensable survival guide for trainees and experienced therapists. I plan to recommend it to all my trainee therapists.
I enjoyed reading this informative, empathic and engaging book and am certain that it will become the ‘must have’ introduction to this topic and also ensure that all those involved in mental health promotion and support ( at all levels) will have access to a relevant, user friendly and informative survival guide.
I consider this to be a good book for undergraduate students. I think they would find the vignettes of particularly helpful.

This is an interesting and helpful book - especially for those approaching the concept of psychopathology and wanting to get to understand the traditional medical frameworks.

Great book as an introduction to psychopathology. Readable, accessible and erudite with user friendly vignettes and exercises.
Difficult to read as print so small. However, the case points and vignettes were very valuable. I like the way the book is organised.

This book is very useful for supplementary information while studying counselling. It helps to give students background information and understanding about a range of relative conditions
Quite an involved book that students haven't shown much interest in to date. However, i think they will get a great deal out of the book in year 3 studies when they consider forensic principles.
I have found it useful in preparation terms with excellent assessment and diagnostic tools/principles. I will recommend the book again in year 3
Very accessible introduction to psychopathology, clearly structured and presented
