"This book is an excellent resource for students trying to understand how health care is delivered in Britain today"- Lecturer, Edge Hill University
Perfect for our interprofessional modules
With our new collaborative curriculum this book is essential. It highlights the need for collaborative working and clearly links this with the NMC requirements
Good introductory book that enhances the discussion on interprofessional practice.
Plenty of scenarios and case studies to help students put what they've read into context. Good concept summaries and research summaries to clarify students' understanding. The inclusion of useful websites at the end of each chapter is a great idea.
Students at the end of their course have to submit a number of pieces of work based on collaborative practice. This book is useful in giving them a starting point on the subject and provides useful information relevant to their course.
A very good book on the subject of interprofessional working.
I have found this excellent book a useful resource for nursing students throughout the curriculum; from introducing the concept of multiagency working in the first year to teaching about the challenges of providing collaborative care.
This suplements the IPE strand of the curriculum at our institution.
a good book which will aid the development and understanding of students throughout the course in reference to the importance of working together and team work within the health care setting: whether primary, intermediate or secondary within this degree pathway.
A essential aid to practice in the current climate.
There have been a number of texts written around the subject of interprofessional collaborative and practice, none of which have link to the core areas of importance within the NMC standards and essential skills clusters.
