Clear and concise introductory text to use with students and helpful practice exercises to explore learning. I liked the information provide on communication as well as the role play as this enabled students to further consider and develop their skill base.
An essential read for laying the foundations for the principles and purposes of youth work. I will use this for level 3, foundation degree students and level 4 students who are starting their youth and community work studies. It is easy to navigate and offers great guidance, applying theory and further reading suggestions on subject areas.
