Excellent book well structured with good figures and case studies to help students to grasp the concepts of CBT brilliant book for CBT I would definitely recommend this for someone studying CBT.

A great introductory text for trainee CBT therapists. It includes a wide variety of extremely credible contributors and includes guidance on the development of many important skills as well as recommendations in dealing with common difficulties and obstacles in therapy.

The book addresses all the topics of the course that I will give to master students starting from January 2016. The book looks very suited and well written, addressing both the theoretical and practical aspects of CBT.

Have opted to go with an older textbook. Not to say this isn't an excellent introductory book but it's just not right for our module this time around.
This is without doubt one of the best books on this subject that is available.Windy Dryden has produced another book that will surely be essential reading for any student/practitioner of CBT. Clearly written, this work takes complex issues and presents them in a simplistic manner so that all will quickly grasp the fundamentals.
This book covers various topics not typically found in other introductory texts on CBT. Chapters on topic areas such as values and ethics in CBT, supervision, multidisciplinary working and CBT help readers to go beyond basic introductory knowledge of CBT.
A nicely constructed text to aid individuals exploring an aspect of the psychosocial interventions spectrum.
