A great book for students that covers all the essential steps and methodological approaches for successfully conducting a research project. The material is highly accessible, contemporary and addresses the major challenges, concerns and questions that students face when undertaking research.
Zina O’Leary’s guide is hands-down favourite with the research students. She answers questions you don’t feel able to ask your supervisor, they say. Myself, I like the solid academic and experiential grounding of her content, her enthusiasm and accessible style.
Excellent guide for masters students.
This is an excellent text for undergraduate students completing their research dissertation or proposal. It is easy to follow, clearly laid out with very useful text boxes and chapter summaries. I particularly like the 'I have a question section' which answers some of the questions that may be difficult to ask.
