I read the first chapter rather quickly and this left me with a very positive approach to the rest of the book. This chapter clarifies the requirements for teaching in the 14+ age group at the current time, and makes it clear right from the start that it is a possibility for anyone who wishes to extend their career into this sector.
This updated edition includes some important changes in the new framework. This has been very useful for our new trainees as an introductory text, it has been a good guide to help them to settle into their new role as a teacher. They particularly enjoyed the section exploring sustainability as it provoked ideas for their own classroom delivery.
