Flick provides an easy to read, yet complex narrative around how to conduct indigenist research. This is of particular benefit to Indigenous students, who are often exposed to only eurocentric ways of knowing and doing.
Really useful reference book for students using qualitative research. The addition of non-Western perspectives is particularly helpful.
This is an excellent source for our students. We have recently used a different book for our module, however, this is a valuable resource to help students who are completing qualitative research for their dissertations.

An extremely useful book for students that provides a comprehensive overview of qualitative research methodologies. It is particularly useful for students grappling with theory and provides a good basic introduction that is suitable for undergraduates in psychology. It would be great, however, to see a little more on the conceptual basis and frameworks of the various methodologies in future editions. This is largely absent in most undergraduate textbooks on qualitative research methods aimed at undergraduates.

Excellent book but I won’t include enough qualitative content in this course to justify the purchase of an entire textbook. Thanks! :)
