This textbook is unequivocally one of the best resources any student can own if they are required to do a research project or dissertation. This textbook is accessible to all and each chapter is written in a language that is plain, accurate and challenging in just the right quantities. Every element of the research process is clearly documented and discussed; many different types of research is included. This will be my essential text for all my research modules in the future.
This is a large book - however the way it is written helps the reader to break down the sections to research and make them seem more manageable. It is a really helpful book and I will be sharing it with my students.

This is really helpful book that my students enjoy. It helps demystify research concepts in a practical and involved manner. Some books on research can be cumbersome to navigate but this book is written in a way that turns students on to research and not the opposite. It encourages the reader to think logically about the sequencing of the research process without making the process seem scary to them. Very worthwhile addition to my reading list.
