For level 3 students, this is an excellent book to introduce the concept of research and provide some foundation knowledge to support them to carry out a basic research project. The exercises and study questions for each chapter help them to consolidate learning.
A thorough guide to social research, clearly devised and well planned. Will hopefully help guide students through the research process step by step.
This is a very useful book for students as it covers a wide range of research types and explains them very clearly.
A comprehensive book which covers all the basics and more. A must for any student.
This is a very good and a very practical book. Added to recommended books in our Tutorial Letter FOR5906 Advanced Intelligence.
A clear and definitive exploration of research methods in social science.
A Clear and concise introductory text for undergraduate students.
This textbook provides an excellent reference book for all elements of the social research process. It is a useful resource for students undertaking their own research project or analysing research. I will be recommending it on the MA Social Work Dissertation module and BA Level 6 Research mindedness for social workers module at the University of Wolverhampton.
Too complex for work at level 4.
