Very good reference book for the students. Making notes and giving examples is easy. Detailed explanation of pathophysiology is the key point for me which makes it easier to the students to follow. Highly recommend this book for 3rd year students.

The inclusion of evidence -based prompts and activities including reflective practice and the additional optional reading (books, useful websites, journal articles at the end of each chapter is an excellent idea and makes it easier for the reader to explore the subject further.

It is well written, has relevant up-to-date information that will benefit 2nd year nursing students who can reflect on their experience and relate it to the information in the book.

It is written well, with clear, concise language throughout. Furthermore, it asks relevant questions that do enhance the reader's learning.

It is evident that the editors and the contributors have worked hard at making what are several complex topics into easily understandable topics.
