This is a key textbook on the subject of Biological Psychology!! I will be recommending this book to my students, we have a meeting coming up and I will aims to advocate for the full adoption of the book!
I have reviewed the book with a view for using it on our Psychological Support module. We teach this at Level 4 and level 6. As a supplementary resource I think it will be valuable for our level 6 students though not level 4.
The book's text is well supported with easy to follow diagrams. I particularly like the set questions at the end of each chapter which allows the reader to reflect and consider what they have learnt. I will recommend it to our students
Excellent book for those students starting out on a Foundation Degree in Psychology. An excellent straightforward text. Ideal for students new to the topic
This is an detailed and well presented book providing an insight into biological psychology and hence an underpinning to many courses. Tutors may like to refer to it for examples, descriptions and explanations of harder to grasp concepts and to help plan courses.
