These institutes, led by author Doug Fisher, provide clear pathways for being more intentional and purposeful as we begin to re-open schools—however that may look. Building on key insights of the Visible Learning® research, attendees will explore the implementation of distance learning teaching practices that focus on credibility, creating learning experiences that are meaningful, and feedback that increases impact.
The Distance Learning live, virtual workshops support educators in building both our students' capacity (and our own) for distance learning through the application of Visible Learning research. Each professional learning day will focus on the exploration of learning intentions and associated success criteria. Participants will engage in nine modules ranging from self/student-care to feedback/assessment and everything in-between.
