Introduction to Sales and Marketing

Plain Language Summaries

In recent years, there have been calls to make scholarly articles more accessible to non-specialist audiences. Research has always helped shape the public realm, empowering people across all sectors of society to make informed decisions. Academic or topic-specific jargon can hinder the general understanding and impact of such publications, which is where Plain Language Summaries (PLS) or Plain Language Summaries of Publications (PLS-P) can be very helpful.

Name change policy

As part of our commitment to addressing the needs of all research communities to improve diversity, equity and inclusion, Sage has introduced a policy to enable name and pronoun changes for our authors. Going forward, all requests to make a name or pronoun change will be honored. This includes, but is not limited to, name changes because of marriage, divorce, gender affirmation, and religious conversion. Sage will not publish a correction notice, nor require any form of proof or supporting documentation.

Non-Academic & Special Libraries

Knowledge solutions for better outcomes

Whatever type of library or institution you are based at we have something that is sure to match your needs. From government to NGO’s, law firms to hospitals, engineering to pharmaceutical, public libraries to schools, anyone responsible for information management or content delivery will benefit from staying up to date with all our products and purchasing options.

The Sage Production Process

  • Communication: We are conscious of, and understand, how keen authors are to see their work published. Sage production staff maintain regular communication with journal editors and authors throughout the production process. In addition, email messages are automatically sent out to the corresponding author at key points along the workflow to confirm that their article has been received in production and to inform them of their article’s progress.
