Shannon Lynch Idaho State University, USA

Shannon M. Lynch, PhD, is a Professor of Psychology at Idaho State University and a licensed Clinical Psychologist. She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Michigan in 1999 and a two year postdoctoral fellowship with the Victims of Violence Program, part of Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. Her research combines quantitative and qualitative methodologies to examine women’s experiences of interpersonal violence and use of resources to cope with and to recover from traumatic events.? Since 2004, she has worked with her research team to assess women’s pathways to incarceration with a specific focus on trauma exposure, mental health, and treatment needs of incarcerated women. Dr. Lynch is a member of APA Divisions 35 and 56. As Associate Editor for PWQ, Shannon is looks forward to reading about new, innovative research endeavors and contributing to the journal’s strong commitment to publish diverse feminist research.
