Sarah E. Rollens
is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Rhodes College (Memphis, TN). She studies the social history of early Christianity, as evinced particularly through the synoptic gospels and Q. She is the author of Framing Social Criticism in the Jesus Movement: The Ideological project in the Sayings Source Q
(2014). She has also written numerous articles and essays on the synoptic problem and Q; the historical Jesus; violence in early Christianity; and method and theory in the study of religion.
