Nemanja Stanisavljevic is an Associate Professor of waste and resource management at Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad in Serbia. He finished his PhD at University of Novi Sad with cooperation of Vienna University of Technology (2013) and his postdoctoral research at North Carolina State University in USA as Fulbright Visiting Scholar (August 2014 – March 2015). His professional interests focus on goal oriented development of waste management systems, material and substance flow analysis (MFA) and assessment methods, quality aspects in waste management, waste management scenario analysis, environmental and resource evaluation of different treatment options (waste-to-energy, recycling, bio waste treatment, environmental system analysis, development of waste management systems in transition and developing countries. Dr. Stanisavljevic is an associate editor of Waste Management & Research scientific journal published by ISWA (International Solid Waste Association) and visiting professor at Vienna University of Technology.
