Kelly Trivedy Nottingham Trent University
My career began as a private tutor for Law and (specialising in EU, criminal justice and The UK legal system). Upon completion of my Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), I began my journey as an academic skills specialist and lecturer for law in 2015. I have since taught on a PGCE programme at Derby College. Shortly after completing my MA in Education, I joined Nottingham Trent University in June 2019 as an educational developer for active and inclusive learning and teaching. In March 2020, I joined the Academic Practice team to support and deliver on both PGCAP and Academic Professional Apprenticeship. I hold fellowship status from the Higher Education Academy. My research interests are in critical thinking, reflection and research project planning with further interests in ethics in education, the value of student coaching and researcher positionality.
