Kelly R. Williams, PhD, MPH, is a Senior Program Administrator at the UPMC Center for High-Value Health Care, a nonprofit research department embedded in UPMC Insurance Services Division. In her current role, Dr. Williams provides scientific and administrative oversight to the development of proposals and execution of multiple funded contracts and internal quality improvement projects. She has led and supported projects on a broad array of health topics including the management of multiple chronic conditions, shared decision making, digitally-delivered care, and behavioral and physical health care integration model scaling. Dr. Williams also co-leads the Center’s portfolio of qualitative research and stakeholder engagement efforts. In addition to publications in peer-review journals she is a co-author of a textbook chapter focused on stakeholder engagement in comparative effectiveness research in Researching Health Together: Engaging Patients and Stakeholders, From Topic Identification to Policy Change. Dr. Williams has over seven years of qualitative research experience including qualitative design, data collection, and thematic analysis in the context of clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives. She is a graduate from the Department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences doctoral program at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public Health.
