Jason Klocek University of Notre Dame, USA

Jason Klocek is a Global Religion Research Initiative postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Notre Dame’s Center for the Study of Religion and Society. His research and teaching examine the role of religion in conflict, state counterinsurgency and repression, and civil wars and political violence more broadly. His published work has appeared in the Journal of Conflict Resolution, the Oxford Encyclopedia of Politics and Religion, and St. Antony’s International Review, along with edited volumes on the military chaplaincy and interfaith dialogue. Klocek received his PhD in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2018.
