Janne E. Gaub is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at East Carolina University. She earned her Ph.D. in criminology and criminal justice from Arizona State University (ASU) in 2015, followed by a postdoctoral appointment as a senior project manager at the Center for Violence Prevention and Community Safety at ASU. Her research interests focus on policing, including technology, misconduct, and gender. Currently, she works with local police departments as they implement body-worn camera (BWC) programs and provides training and technical assistance to law enforcement agencies adopting BWCs. Her work has been published in numerous journals including Criminology, Criminology & Public Policy, Police Quarterly, and Policing: An International Journal.
