The book includes over 200 multiple-choice and extended multiple-choice questions, designed to assess depth of knowledge. At the end of each chapter sample essay questions are provided, plus further guidance, to complement the multiple-choice questions and further test understanding. Information is provided to help students make sense of their results and identify strengths and weaknesses.
A great little book which students can use to check their knowledge and understanding of what is often considered a challenging element of Psychology - I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone struggling with Research Methods

Brilliant little book with plenty of ideas for MCQs for year 1 undergraduate psychology students to work through. Highly recommended.
Learning through assessment is a great concept. I will be using this text and recommending it to studens on the Introduction to Research Methods Module.
I have not adopted this book. I have mentioned it to my students as I think it is a very useful book for supporting students individual learning in their own time, but it has not been adopted as a text in its own right.
This was not adopted as it is a testing book and thus not essential reading, however it was helpful to design and thing about exam preparation questions with the students
This is a useful student resource for ongoing self-assessment in relation to research design.
