Practical Child Law for Social Workers
- Clare Seymour - Anglia Ruskin University, UK
- Richard Seymour
A very practical book that has received many positive comments from students who have shared this book.
One of several used or the course with useful examples. Clearly written. It will be a valuable addition to what we use
The book provides a critical analysis of the practical application of law and policy relating to social work with children and families. The use of reflective activities helps to engage the reader and enables students to consider the implications of the law in practice. This book will be helpful for both undergraduate, post graduate and newly qualified social workers
Only partially suitable for group
As I don't teach Childcare Law - I gave this text to a fellow colleague who thought this concise text was a great for both undergraduate & PQ childcare SW practitioners so he will include it in his MA & BA in Social Work Module reading list
