Interest ideas within this text.
Ought to be used more widely on UKPSF courses within HE.
This book gives clear information and advise regarding managing behaviour. I found the chapter on adult education especially useful for members of staff delivering lectures to students because they are a specialist in their area and not a trained teacher. It is easy to dip in and out of and gives good examples via case studies.
useful background reading for seminar and practice
A useful third edition update on an essential text with practical advice and useful case studies to illustrate key points. There are questions set to stimulate reflection on practice and useful summaries after each chapter. The book is very accessible and clearly set out.
An excellent update on the first edition to support students on their ITE courses.
excellent book , provides essential advice to manage behaviour in a learning environment.
For budding teachers this book provides details of how to positively manage behaviours in education. If used in conjunction with a CPD course, it could prove very productive.
If not actually used on the course it will certainly be recommended as supportive text
I deal with unemployed learners who have severe problems which effect their learning. This book helps those you are new to teaching and need help to manage these problems. Easy read and helps you achieve this particular unit towards your teacher training qualification.
A useful book, with some helpful angles on behavior.
