In reviewing this text, I found it to be most useful for pre-service teachers.
I chose this textbook because of its extensive coverage of language. Most textbooks are heavily literacy-based and my course is predominately about language development.
At this point I did not teach the class again, but this does not mean that I will not adopt in the future.
Book meets all course requirements.
Comprehensive Text written in an understandable format for teachers. The case studies help teacher candidates relate theory to practice.
