I enthusiastically endorse the fourth edition of IHRM. The editors are to be congratulated for recruiting the top-rated authors in this field to contribute to this volume. The chapters are up to date, insightful, and sometimes even provocative. Students, including post-grads and advanced undergraduates, as well as savvy practitioners, will benefit from reading this volume.
IHRM is a comprehensive guide for today’s researchers, students, and practitioners. It has the advantage of including chapters covering each of the major topics, carefully chosen and orchestrated by an excellent editing team and written by leading specialists in each topic.
The book is very 'hand on' with many practical cases.
Main importance for the lectures.
Worthy successor to 3rd edition, with lots of useful examples. particularly useful for detail on strategic international HRM. However, I do wish the 4th ed. still used the case studies that were a feature of the 3rd ed.
In my view the most comprehensive of the rigorously academic texts in the field
The authors ability to communicate the context and complexity of global HRM makes this an essential text as economies become more multi-national. A very clear and concise book.
The content of the book is very suitable for my International HRM lecture. The book is well organized.
The research-based perspective from which this book has been written is extremely useful at masters level.
