Really useful text and have recommended this for many first year students as we now cover dementia within our adult nursing course
Easy to read text, informative and very well presented text
Found this useful for Adult nursing students and as a lecturer to help me address and meet the needs of the increasing number of patients in general settings with Dementia
Good basic book about dementia
I have already recommended this book as a starter text to a group of HCA's I recently taught and I will be placing the book on the reading list for my Dementia Care modules both L4 and L6.
An insightful book that my health and social care students took a liking to. I recommended it for those that wish to work within a care home.
This text is clear, concise and contemporary. It provides a good insight into the role of the nurse caring for individuals with dementia.
A good companion, a clever friend.
Part of the transforming Nursing practice series. Recommended for students in line with Dementia content for module. Good use of case studies and full of useful resources and websites which should be accessed by the student. ideal for raising awareness of the issues around caring for dementia patients. Can be easily transferred into clinical practice.
This is an excellent book that gives great insight into the care of patients with dementia.
It is useful additional reading for those working in end of life care though it does not address this topic in any specific detail.
