Manoj Joshi Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship and Director, Centre for VUCA Studies, Amity University

Manoj Joshi is the co-author of The VUCA Company. He is currently Professor of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Family Business Strategy at Amity Business School and Director of Centre for VUCA Studies, Amity University, Lucknow. He is a B. Tech., MBA, Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (Mech.). He is the Regional Editor India, Journal of Family Business Management by Emerald; Regional Editor, International Journal of Strategic Business Alliances by Inderscience and editorial board member for international journals such as Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Journal of Small Business Management, Business Strategy and Environment, Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies, World Review of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development, etc. In the industry, he was associated with fluid engineering vertical, with expertise in design, manufacturing and business development. His current consulting includes VUCA strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation and family business from the behavioural perspective. He has travelled extensively and has over 26 years of combined experience in the areas of screw pumps design, heat exchangers, loading arms, projects, consulting, research, mentoring and teaching. He is an avid reader and enjoys cycling, trekking in Himalayas, with added interests in astronomy, astrophysics and watching movies with deep interests in life after death.

Suhayl Abidi is the co-author of The VUCA Company. He is an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, and PG Diploma in Information Management from Leeds Polytechnic, UK. For 25 years, he has worked for organizations such as Penguin Publishing, the British Council, Saudi Ports Authority, Reliance Industries, Essar and Piramal Healthcare in the information and organization learning domain. He has been responsible for design, implementation and dissemination of processes by which knowledge is captured, shared and used. Abidi has successfully completed several projects such as on Intranet, continuous learning programmes, learning from corporate history, web-based digital corporate library, digital archives, performance management system, e-zines, etc. Later, he consulted for companies such as CRISIL Limited and Kohinoor Group. He conducts training programmes in areas of developing agility, adaptability and resilience through continuous learning. He has written a number of articles in leading business papers and magazines.
