Mary Francis provides a very useful guide for professionals new to teaching in the lifelong learning sector.
good basis for DETS qualification covering some of the more basic areas.
similar to others in this sector but much more in depth. Good section on VLE and powerpoints.
The book is a useful, accessible reference book for building knowledge and understanding on the L3 PTLLS
An excellent resource to accompany your PTLLS course. It has useful web links and is completely up todate. It will certainly point you in the right direction for all of your assignments particularly if you don't have any teching experience before you start the course.
With the revocation of PTLLS and the change to the Award in Education and Training, this book has become somewhat redundant. But the 1st edition was my favourite PTLLS text-- much better than Ann Gravells-- and I hope these authors will do a similar text for the Award.
This was very useful to help plan the lessons, and I have reccommended it as suggested reading.
Thanks.
A recommended read for all students on our PTLLS programme.
