Supplements
Good all round and thorough book - supplemental as not all students do stat-based research project.
Top on my list to consider using the textbook in the future. I like the extensive explanations for the crosstabs and the test statistics. It is not as strong on examples for business and economics, that my students prefer. I recommend to students as a supplement
The book is useful in many ways, however, it is quite similar to other texts that are better structured (for example, Burns and Burns).
A useful resource to students taking introductory research methods, and undergraduate student using SPSS.
The text is easy to read, covering basic research design and quantitative methodologies, with guidance on how to use SPSS to undertake various statistical tests.
Excellent book that complement general research methods focus.
this book can be useful if you are using SPSS within your primary research
Well written supplement to help studets gain understanding to using SPSS with other statistical methods.
Some students avoid statistics and, indeed quantitative method and methodologies. The course actively seeks out books that can help to demystify this area for students. This book is useful as a reference source for students struggling to grasp statistics. Though SPSS is not actively tought, students moving on to higher studies have a useful reference point to return to if and when statistics are involved.
