Leadership and Change Management
- Annabel Beerel - Southern New Hampshire University
Drawing on a wide range of insightful, global real-life case studies to capture the imagination, the topics covered include critical systems thinking, philosophies of leadership, group dynamics, authority, ethics, personal character and the psychology of leadership.
This comprehensive text will be of interest to anyone looking for a more thoughtful engagement with the key issues in leadership and change management.
With the organizational exercises, case studies, and additional readings offered this text is an exceptional platform for teaching online education.
This book seems to be interesting in considering the theories of leadership and applying change management techniques. I have recommended the same to my students
Not quite what I was looking for
I ordered the book for inspection mainly because I teach with case technique and was searching for new cases in connection to leadership. However, the cases are rather business-oriented and do not really fit the purpose of teaching about organizational change from a psychological perspective
When you read this book, always count on getting more than what you bargained for. It is practical and easy to read.
This is an excellent book that I will recommend to my students. Although not designed for Early Year's Professionals I believe that there are some valuable insights into Change Management that Professionals can adapt and take back to their practice. This will also be relevant to other modules that I deliver across the programme especiall the Research module delivered to 55 students. Thankyou
Good text for students as an introduction to leadership and change management.
Clear structure, useful models, and application.
A very good review of theories and practices on leadership related to change management.
Recomended for students and Phd reasearchers who are directly concernend with change management and leaderhip issues in the public sector.
My course, Leadership in Organizations, is part of a graduate certificate in Leadership and Change. This book reflects the course topic very well and approaches it through a systemic perspective. I also like the fact that it includes case studies drawn from around the world.
found the book hard to follow and not easily digestable
