Communication & Media Studies

Media, communication and cultural studies are disciplines that have been published at Sage for over fifty years now. We are proud to have built such a well-respected list of leading journals, textbooks for all courses and levels, and critically acclaimed titles from top thinkers in the field. We believe in beautiful books, critical thinking and innovative resources that support research and teaching, and help shape the future of media studies.

Your role as Editor

At Sage we value very highly the role our Editors play. As Editor you will be driving your journal forward: ensuring that it is publishing high quality research, meeting the needs of its readership, and ensuring that it is responding to developments within the discipline or field of study. As your publisher, our aim is to support you and your Editorial Board by providing information and advice on all publishing matters, and especially any issues that could affect the quality and ethical standing of the journal.

The Sage Production Process

  • Communication: We are conscious of, and understand, how keen authors are to see their work published. Sage production staff maintain regular communication with journal editors and authors throughout the production process. In addition, email messages are automatically sent out to the corresponding author at key points along the workflow to confirm that their article has been received in production and to inform them of their article’s progress.

Our Partnerships

     Partnerships

Our partnerships with societies are a foundation of our successful publishing program. We are proud to collaborate with some of the most prestigious societies worldwide to publish high-quality research.
