Safary Wa-Mbaleka Adventist University of Africa

Safary Wa-Mbaleka is a professor of education with specialization in curriculum and instruction, qualitative research, online education, and applied linguistics. He has taught at different universities in the Caribbean, the USA, Asia, and Africa. He has published several books and journal articles on qualitative research and delivered several talks, seminars, workshops, classes, and conference presentations internationally in more than 20 countries. He is the founding president of the Asian Qualitative Research Association, which he led from 2015 to 2019. His passion for and experience with qualitative research led him and his co-editor, Arceli H. Rosario, to publish this handbook in order to help address issues that they both encountered while leading the qualitative research scholarship in Asia. At the publication of this handbook, he was the dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies of the Adventist University of Africa, in Nairobi, Kenya.
