MaryAnn Foote, PhD MA Foote Associates, Westlake Village, CA, USA

MaryAnn Foote received her BS and MS degrees in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ; and her PhD from the Ecology Program at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Dr Foote has taught on the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels, including the Graham School, U of Chicago, and is currently Adjunct Faculty, USC School of Pharmacy, MS and PhD programs in Regulatory Sciences.

Dr Foote started her career at Schering-Plough in New Jersey and moved to California to start the medical writing department at Amgen in 1991, from where she retired in 2005; she now is a consultant to the industry.

The editor or author of 40 plus books and hundreds of scientific papers, her major publishing accomplishments include Targeted Regulatory Writing, which has attained global usage in graduate and medical schools.
