Dr. Jeffrey C. Wolf attended Michigan State University as an undergraduate and as a graduate student in MSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Following ten years of predominantly small animal veterinary practice, Dr. Wolf received pathology residency training at the University of Florida and at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, where Dr. Wolf also investigated the pathogenesis of mycobacteriosis in striped bass for his doctoral thesis. Dr. Wolf was certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 1997. Since 1999, he has been a staff pathologist for Experimental Pathology Laboratories, Inc. (EPL®), initially at EPL’s North Carolina laboratory and presently at the EPL facility in Northern Virginia. Dr. Wolf participates primarily in studies that involve the toxicologic pathology of fish and other aquatic vertebrates, with special emphasis in the areas of reproductive endocrine disruption and carcinogenesis. Dr. Wolf also designs and performs projects that incorporate image analysis and stereological techniques.
