David Bristol has been an independent statistical consultant (currently as President, Statistical Consulting Services, Inc.) for more than 15 years and was a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years, at various companies. Most recently he was Director of Biostatistics and Statistical Programming at Purdue Pharma in Cranbury NJ, after having positions of increasing responsibility at five other companies. He is the author or co-author of more than 40 statistical articles, primarily on clinical trials methodology.
