Benoy Jacob University of Nevada, USA

Benoy Jacob is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Policy and Leadership in the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research focuses on the growth and governance of cities, public finance, state and local relationships, and social diversity and equity and has been supported by the Rockefeller Foundation, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, and ASPA’s Center for Accountability and Performance. His work has been published in Urban Affairs Review, National Tax Journal, and Public Administration Review. He serves on the Executive Committee of SIAM and the Editorial Board for Urban Affairs Review. He has also worked as a land-use planner for Rockland County, New York, and as a development consultant in the New York Metropolitan Area. He earned his Ph. D in Public Administration from the University of Illinois--Chicago in 2008.
