A very interesting and informative book which includes generic chapters that cover all aspects of teaching in the classroom. It is easily accessible to students starting a teacher training course which can be 'dipped into' rather than read from cover to cover. Learning theories, group exercises and learning styles are all addressed.
This book explains teaching training methods in a very understandable way and includes some really good examples.

This text book gave relevant interesting topics for trainee teachers, I feel this is a valuable resource for those at the start of their teaching journey.
Links well to course and is very informative at a practitioner level
Although there are some really useful and interesting chapters in this book, we generally felt that this book was more geared to teachers of children and not FE lecturers who we are teaching
This book is set out in a logical and easy to read manner, it supports trainee teachers to understand and develop their practice through the key issues and theoretical perspectives discussed. I highly recommend this book.
