The book is written in such a way that all students should find it easy to read and understand.

Very good book and interesting
This book is well laid out. There are case studies that allow the reader to apply the content discuss to situations that are likely to occur. The section on legality, in particular the controlled drug section, describes the legality of administering drugs in an explicit and easy to understand method.

Very good text-used to support theory and practice sessions
An easy to follow and clearly illustrated text for students to dip in to and gain valuable knowledege of an essential topic. Think the use of this book will increase as greater emphasis is placed on medicines management and associated skills within pre-registration nursing courses.
A must for all Paediatric Nurses. Informative, clear and highly useful. Great to use in conjuction with development activities.

Essential reference book for students studying children's nursing - highly recommended.
I feel that my adult nursing students would only use a text like this very rarely but would be a good text in the library for them to research with if they came across in critical care areas children and were involved in medicines management. A more focussed textbook for students and lecturers involved and undertaking the child health branch of the nursing degree programme, but a book for all nursing libraries in my view as medicines management is an essental skill.
It is very user friendly with clear explanations of the concepts of medicine safety and management for children. Excellent, thought provoking case studies and activities allow students to understand their accountability and responsibilities of care.

This is an excellent textbook. It is very user friendly and gives the student the opportunity to develop a firm understanding of the issues around children and medicines. I found the layout to be very logical and the content would encourage further exploration of he subject matter by the student. I also feel that this is a book that would be a very useful addition to any paediatric ward as a clear resource for guidance. I did particlarly like the issues raised around calculations.
